Welcome to the Nonstop Mom podcast! Thank you so much for listening. If you like what you hear, please subscribe and check out my blog at www.nonstopmom.net
In this episode, I continue this week's live series on homeschooling. I share ideas and examples of different inexpensive resources I recommend purchasing, and even some practical tips for your setup. Don't let the pressure of thinking you need a perfect homeschool room overwhelm you! You can absolutely make what you have work. You don't have to have this big, elaborate setup to be successful at homeschool. In the video replay (available on our ministry YouTube channel HERE) I share pictures of what our setup looks like so you can get ideas.
I also encourage you in this episode to not get caught up in the unimportant things when it comes to homeschool. While yes, there are benefits like having a flexible schedule and being able to travel as a family for our ministry, to me, the most important part about homeschooling is that I get to be the teacher of my children. I get to be the guard over their eyes and ears. There are things being taught in public schools that a five-year-old should NEVER know about. So take this season with your kids seriously and remember what a gift it is to teach your children.
